Angela White Focuses Bible, Sobriety After Leaving OnlyFans
By Movieguide® Contributor
Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, recently opened up about the major changes she has made since leaving her old life behind and choosing to follow God.
White was best known for her OnlyFans fame, her past as an adult performer and her ties with the Kardashians. That was until 2022 when she announced her baptism and decision to focus her life on God.
“I was reborn on my birthday 5-11-22 🙏🏽 God is Good 🙌🏽,” she shared in an Instagram post at the time.
While she continues to use the platform she found through Blac Chyna, she now focuses her efforts on doing what God calls her to and frequently turns down offers that don’t align with that.
When asked how she navigates a life of fame and the drama that comes with it, she said, “I just look at the scenarios and be like ‘This is wild.’ I be like, ‘All right, 24 hours it’ll be over. Next!”
“I’ve never been a person type of person to be like, ‘Oh, let me address this.’ It just, it’ll never happen. Just imagine me going back and forth with people on the internet or just in general, holding my phone, and it’ll never happen,” White added.
While she didn’t experience much negativity following her baptism — “I only saw like the positive stuff” — she knows how to handle criticism, explaining that she’s been a public figure since 2008.
Following her baptism, White gave up her work on OnlyFans. Movieguide® reported:
“With me being baptized, that’s just not what God will want me to do. It’s kind of degrading,” White explained.
She also opened up about her baptism, turning towards faith in an effort to feel “whole.”
“If you don’t like it, then you just don’t like it. But I will tell you this, there is a God,” White told skeptics. “Nobody can tell you what to do with your religion or your faith or this or that. I hope that me coming out will enlighten a lot of people and inspire a lot of people.”
She now uses her social media presence to point her followers to Christ.
“Grateful for 1 year and 4 months of sobriety, 16 months of blessings,” she posted in January. “Thank you, God, for this journey to happiness.”
