AltPorn.Net is pleased to announce the 2024 inductees for the AltStar Hall of Fame. This year, along with the announcement of the winners of the AltStar Awards aka AltPorn Awards presented by Bad dragonDuring the awards ceremony, several key figures were inducted into the AltStar Hall of Fame. These are people who truly changed the shape of alto and made a difference for all creators in the space.
Romi Rain
First up we have Romi Rain. When Romi Rain started performing, the industry began to accept tattooed artists, but Romi was a leader in his independence and did not give in to conformist pressure from any side. Romi marched to the beat of her own drummer, and that’s what Alt is all about. She was early on in artist-owned content and really owns her own brand and personality, helping lead the way to indie success.
Killshot aka Scott Owens
Next we have Killshot, also known as Scott Owens. Killshot is perhaps best known for creating Erotic BPM, also known as RaverPorn, the first explicitly alternative membership site in the late 90s. He was early to social features and his SpicePlay project helped popularize and pioneer the tagging of adult content with the model revenue sharing platform model. Killshot has had an incredible influence on the entire structure of sharing and generating adult content, which is used by every premium social media platform today.
Casey kisses
Next we have Casey Kisses. With an ever-changing hair color and a motorcycle club background documented in her biopic Casey: A True Story, Casey Kisses has made a mark on the industry as both alt and trans talent. Casey, the top trans performer on Chaturbate, has helped popularize trans performer scenes with cis women and helped break down barriers in variety adult production.
Ashley Fontenot
Ashley Fontenot was one of the few female photographers shooting alternative erotica in the heyday of altporn membership sites in the early 2000s, and one of the few to license her work more widely, popularizing the aesthetic. She was also one of the first to mix alt models with fetish, glamor and vintage pin-up.
