LOS ANGELES — With her first high-profile studio scene in four years released Wednesday by Brazzers, Ivy Lebelle is back with a bang.
An anal bang with Mazee the Goat, to be precise.
Lebelle spoke exclusively to XBIZ to reveal details about her comeback, which officially kicked off yesterday with the release of the trailer for her new Brazzers scene, much to the delight and anticipation of her legion of fans.
“Actually, the last scene I made for mainstream was in early 2020,” says Lebelle. “I took a super long break for various reasons. First of all, COVID was just really stressful for everyone, and I wasn’t motivated to shoot. And then I decided to have my implants removed in 2021…’
The experience culminated in a lengthy ordeal that the brunette stunner describes as ‘really traumatic’.
“I honestly didn’t know if I would ever return to the mainstream,” she confides. “I had such intense and serious problems and complications with my breast implants. I didn’t really know what my breasts would look like after the removal, how I would feel in my body, or if people would even want to see me perform.”
Concerns about her appearance – a universal concern among those who work with their appearance for a living – became nearly paralyzing for the previously confident, always in-demand performer and iconic exotic dancer from Los Angeles.
“I had nothing left,” Lebelle says about this dark period. “I was almost convinced it would look like I had top surgery! I mean, I support top surgery for people who want it, but I definitely didn’t want it. Even though my doctor did an excellent job, the healing process just took a very long time.”
Her scars in particular took a long time to fade, and Lebelle simply didn’t feel comfortable returning to camera work for about four months.
“I had to find my way back to performing,” she says. “And then I started recording solo with my top on and just to keep my OnlyFans going.”
In 2022, Lebelle started making occasional collabs – still with her top on – with some of her fellow artists and makers she trusted.
Lebelle credits her fanbase with helping her body image, along with a few strategically placed tattoos.
“Most of my scars are now covered by the snake tattoos I have,” she says. “In my personal life it was even scary, like taking off my bra in front of someone, but the snake tattoos really helped. Plus they look really cool!”
Losing her depression-eating COVID-era pounds also made Lebelle feel more confident about returning to the lenses.
“Now I’m back to the body I recognize, and I’m kind of back to the body I had before my implants,” she reveals. “I really feel like I look younger now. I feel very confident. It just took time. But I feel like when I got the tattoos and looked at myself, I was like, ‘Okay, we’re back. We can take them out now!’”
Lebelle says she consciously chose Brazzers as her comeback studio as a show of gratitude for the veteran studio.
“My new Brazzers scene is a classic gonzo anal scene, because I’m a gonzo queen. Gonzo is my favorite, and I know my fans know and love me for my anal sex. I didn’t do much anal in my OnlyFans, just a little bit, but I missed that side of me. So I just wanted to go full throttle back to ‘Old Ivy,’ the ivy that people remember.”
For the Toni Ribas-helmed scene, Lebelle opted for a leather bondage outfit and decided to be super literal with the “coming out of her cage” concept.
“In the beginning of the video I get locked up, and then I’m out of my cage. I get to see the cock and finally get out of my cage. I’ll be right back! It’s basically like a sexy, dark, vibrating, sweaty, sexy anal scene.”
Lebelle shot two more scenes with Brazzers during her comeback trip to be released.
“I wanted to make my comeback with them because Brazzers was always a big champion of mine in my career, especially when I got into this scene,” she says. “In 2017, people were still telling me that tattoos weren’t attractive and that I would struggle to get bookings. Even my fake breasts seemed to be a problem at the time. Brazzers was like, “Big tits and tattoos? We love it!’ They were my second scene ever, and I owe a lot of my immediate success to them, and they kept booking me consistently and for fun scenes.
Lebelle – who is representing herself during her comeback – says she has always had very positive experiences with Brazzers and their directors.
“I just thought it would be nice if they would give my career a new impetus. And if I felt like I was dipping my toe in the water and seeing how I felt shooting these scenes, I had such a great time, I’m leaning towards being much more mainstream in 2025 photographing.
Lebelle also says she has something “very special” in the works with Ricky’s Room, her friend Ricky Johnson’s groundbreaking success site.
“It’s funny because I did shoot a scene with Ricky before my official comeback with Brazzers, but I saw that as part of the content collaboration I was doing,” says Lebelle. “It’s just that his site has grown so big that people now almost consider it a mainstream studio. What he has achieved with Ricky’s Room is so impressive – and let’s just say people should stay tuned for upcoming announcements…’
Lebelle’s comeback is also part of her complete reboot of a year that turned her life upside down.
“This year has been absolutely crazy, and I’m sure a lot of people know that,” she adds, referring to an extremely problematic ex-boyfriend who is no longer part of her life.
“It’s all still quite delicate, but pretty much everyone in the industry knows about it,” she reflects. “This year has been more difficult than expected, and my comeback is my way of regaining my autonomy in this profession. My career was ‘lost in the sauce’ with that man. So it’s nice to be back and feel like Ivy again and perform on these sets. I certainly missed it a lot. It’s really great to do OnlyFans – it’s so much fun to just film at home and interact with fans – but there’s nothing compared to being on set, if you love being on set.
“And I love it.”
