  • 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs or 4 medium sized fillets

Buttermilk Marinade:

  • 1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Chinese Five Spice

Flour dip:

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Spice Mix

To prepare:

  • Cooking oil for cooking chicken
  • 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • Warm, crispy french fries, cooked any way you like

Instructions:

Prepare the Chicken: Cut the chicken thighs into small pieces, trimming off any excess fat. In a medium bowl, mix together the buttermilk and hot sauce. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and let them sit for at least 20 minutes. For a longer marinade, cover the bowl and refrigerate.
