Monday, May 13 is “arrival day,” when XBIZ Miami visitors check into the hotel and get an early start by collecting their all-access badges. Those looking for a relaxing start can join Women in Adult for ‘Speed Friendship’, an informal get-to-know-you meeting on the beach.
As evening falls, attendees can raise a glass to a welcome toast during the XBIZ.net Kick-Off Happy Hour, then cap off the evening with
On Tuesday, May 14, the first full day of the conference, attendees can re-energize each morning with ’80s-themed aerobics, courtesy of Pineapple Support. Everyone else can sleep an extra hour and then ride the wave of good vibes from the night before in a Speed Networking session, making new connections amid the tropical breeze poolside.
Kicking off at 11:30 a.m. with XBIZ Miami Boot Camp, a welcome reception for creators that provides an informal orientation to getting the most out of the show. Newcomers to XBIZ Miami are especially encouraged to attend. The Creators Lounge will also be available during the show, providing an inviting space for attendees to take breaks, grab snacks and hang out informally between events.
The same idyllic setting will set the stage for XBIZ Miami’s Company Bungalow hotel suites, offering everything from impromptu meetings with company representatives to product demonstrations and photo shoots. Meanwhile, the company-sponsored Poolside Cabanas offer another fun way to network while getting to know both established and emerging players.
Panel sessions kicked off at noon with “Connecting Through Camming,” an informative workshop to help creators hone both technical and personal skills to keep fans coming back for more. Or discover how creators and paysite players are joining forces to unleash the new era of one-stop shops in the session titled “The Indie Paysite Renaissance.” Meanwhile, LoyalFans is hosting a workshop highlighting site features and sharing tips on monetizing content on the platform.
The next round of panels includes “Crafting Captivating Clips,” a practical “how-to” workshop to help clip makers keep up with the latest tools and trends; “Services to Boost Your Creator Business,” showcasing a wide range of talent-focused companies; and a presentation from the Woodhull Freedom Foundation entitled ‘Championing Change and Empowering Adult Performers’, which explores how to advocate for adult performers, fight stigma, combat censorship and support the rights of sex workers.
Ready for round three? “Collaboration Best Practices” provide a practical and legal perspective on essential issues of collaboration, such as documentation, consent, age verification, shooting locations and more. “Strategies for Success on Premium Social Media” features a panel of stars who have mastered the art of monetization, sharing insights on everything from custom clips to feeds and chat. Or meet the Fansly team and learn tips and tricks to help you succeed on the platform, on “Fansly Presents: FAQs!”
The next series of workshops will include ‘Talent Platforms’, covering the latest trends and opportunities in cams, clips and premium social; a session hosted by Minxxx Digital’s support specialists titled “Increase Your Revenue Without Doing Extra Work,” covering social media and link site optimization, email marketing and more; and the first of two exclusive “XBIZ Talks,” spotlighting veteran artist and creator Sophie Dee as she shares insights from her extensive journey through the industry.
Finally, participants can choose between a pair of informational sessions in the late afternoon: an “AMA” session with Ethical Capital Partners vice presidents Solomon Friedman and Sarah Bain, who will answer questions from community members; and a workshop from AS Talent Agency on “Building Fan Relationships to Increase Profits,” with practical tips on increasing sales on OnlyFans.
As the day draws to a close, participants can take some time to prioritize self-care and nurture their mental wellbeing during a Pineapple Support Beachside Support session – or escape to the Sober Lounge Sanctuary, a serene, supportive and alcohol-free oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the show.
The rest of the evening is all about pool fun, with the first XBIZ Miami Wet T-Shirt Contest, a Ricky’s Room Game Night and the return of Neon Nightswim, a neon-themed pool party that is sure to light up the night.
Wednesday, May 15, the second full day of the conference, will feature another round of informative panels and company-hosted workshops. Plus, the poolside schmoozefest continues with another day of networking and meetings at the Company Bungalows and Poolside Cabanas.
The morning starts with more non-compulsory 80s-style aerobics, another round of Speed Networking, and the community-organized session “From Stigma to Power: Empowering Makers with Disabilities.”
More panels will kick off at lunchtime with ‘Talent to Talent’, exploring strategies for successful collaboration and cross-promotion; a “Legal Report” on recent developments in age verification legislation, censorship and dealing with other business challenges; and “Earning While Learning” where SexWork CEO MelRose Michaels guides creators through strategies to grow their revenue.
The following is a trio of different panels. “An Indie Creator’s Guide to Breaking into Studio Work” reveals the inside scoop on transitioning from cams, clips or social media to studio work, from artists who know the scene. Stay up to date on the latest billing and payment regulations, trends, and issues in Payment Processing Insights for 2024. And discover the brand new ePlay in ‘Monetization Made Simple’, a session on the platform’s latest revenue-boosting features and what the company is working on next.
During the second “XBIZ Talk” of the conference, none other than XBIZ, award-winning artist and industry entrepreneur, Ricky Johnson, shares his dynamic professional journey and experiences. Meanwhile, “Adulting 101: A Tax and Finance Workshop” will guide participants through business and tax basics, setting up an LLC, managing finances and more. Or check out ‘Market Insights for Creators and Agencies’, where Fans-CRM shares the key principles and tactics of customer relationship management. Or those looking for a relaxing outing can stop by the AS Talent Agency Cocktail Hour at Sagamore’s Water Lion bar to enjoy a libation and learn more about the outfit.
XBIZ Miami’s list of panels concludes with a community update from Pornhub, shedding light on recent industry events and the latest developments on the platform, plus a Streamate presentation titled “Radical Acts of Caring – Supporting Community through Advocacy.”
After the educational sessions and meetings, it’s time for the happy hour of the “Mix & Meet Market”, where you can get to know each other in an energetic way and see the latest products and services that can improve productivity and boost business to give. Then another Pineapple Support Beachside Support session provides the perfect way to unwind before you’re ready again for the crown jewel event of the summer: the 2024 XBIZ Creator Awards presented by Fansly, honoring the most dazzling personalities and vibrant artists in the adult world. It all culminates with an energetic afterparty at E11EVEN, which is sure to be an epic finale to this year’s XBIZ Miami.
